Some might say that instead of being a cheerleader for business, Mr. Obama is simply a tough-minded public official holding well-shod feet to the fire. I don’t buy it. His tone and vocabulary, in use since he took office, goes beyond public policy. It sounds personal. Too personal for a president.

Obama continuously reveals an ideological agenda that is devoid of any actual knowledge or experience.  He is a hate-monger against American business, and the people who make the American dream possible.  It has to stop.

George Soros, uber-creep

According to this report in the Orlando Sentinel,
billionaire George Soros doesn’t feel like he got his money’s worth in supporting Barack Obama. That this international control freak, who is not even a US citizen, should financially support a presidential candidate, is bad enough.  But that the issue of his “satisfaction” should be the subject of news interview is ludicrous, and very revealing.

Zakaria on his “Fareed Zakaria GPS” this morning also noted that Soros was one of Barack Obama’s biggest supporters. Zakaria asked, “Are you satisfied with the job Barack Obama has done?”

Soros said he wasn’t. Soros wanted the banks nationalized, but added that Obama “made the political decision that that is un-American, will not be accepted.”

Why is Zakaria asking this? Why does CNN give Soros any kind of attention, much less an audience?

Soros makes money speculating on currencies, and can make money when whole countries’ economies collapse, so nationalizing our banks and going for socialized medicine would certainly have been good business for him.

Most important to us, however, is that Zakaria even thought to ask about Soros’ satisfaction.  Why should this be important?  Why is this news?  CNN’s approach should be more investigative, trying to figure out what this creep is up to, rather than tossing him softballs about how happy he is with OUR president (not his.)

Americans are smarter than this. What was a sneaking suspicion originally has become a mounting distrust of the concept that big government and skyrocketing spending will improve the economy. Most Americans also know that somehow a bill will be paid, either through increased taxes, stealth taxes, rationing, further economic collapse or all three. And Obama knows it too. None but the most economically ignorant would continue to push such a cruel lie unless there was something else at stake. In this case, it is power. Luckily, more Americans are seeing this as well.

That the same crowd is over the top now in its praise says more about the news business than Obama. The journalism industry is fighting for its life. Obama is the one reliable product that moves the market for newspapers, magazines and television. No wonder so many special sections, special issues and special cable marathons have alighted on the 100 Days.
