Still a Dangerous World

The NIE report’s credibility, and that of the entire field of current presidential candidates, is called into question. Who do YOU trust? Daniel Heninger comments.

Softballs for Hillary

DRUDGE REPORTs:

CNN debate moderator Wolf Blitzer did an ‘outstanding’ job in Vegas, a senior adviser to the Hillary campaign said early Friday. ‘He was outstanding, and did not gang up like Russert did in Philadelphia. He avoided the personal attacks, remained professional and ran the best debate so far. Voters were the big winners last night.’ A rival campaign insider charges: ‘Wolf turned into a lamb. No follow-up question on Clinton’s huge flip on drivers licenses?’

The Clintons’ approach to racial harmony

Andrew Sullivan reports & comments on the Clintons’ ruthlessness. I guess the only good black person is a Clinton-loving black person. The Clintons are not nice people.

Talkradio Notes

The newest, best talk show on radio is Dennis Miller’s. He’s on in Chicago, from 1-3 Eastern, on WIND, or on the same station on the ‘net. Another reason to pray the “fairness” doctrine doesn’t get legs.

And drinking doesn’t change anything either…

Suggestion to the Elkhart Truth — proof headlines for laughter potential… and stop making medical pronouncements!

Express Pastes Grand Rapids

The Elkhart Express machine rolls on, tonight chalking up another win against the Grand Rapids Flight and world’s tallest athlete Sun Ming Ming. Scoring was fairly close in the beginning, but the Elkhart Boys pulled ahead, putting a total of 159 points on the board against Grand Rapids’ 129. Coleco and Pledger were the high scorers, but obviously, the whole team was hot this evening.

Coach Daimon Beathea (right, with team member Phil Calvert), has put together one of the area’s premiere entertainment draws. I’m not the only one who believes this, but he’s been a great public face for the community; committed, enthusiastic and focused on doing things for kids as well. To top it off, the Express has been a winning team and looks like it will end up this season at or near the top of the IBL heap.

There’s more Elkhart Express action to come this season, including likely playoff games. Anyone who hasn’t caught this fever is missing out on a true Elkhart treasure.

Imus Flap

While Stephanie Gattman in today’s Truth editorial rehashes what every pundit across the USA is saying, my own daughter Paige has a more refreshing outlook.
